Bustin Industrial Products Announces New Pricing Structure |
October 31, 2006 Dear Valued Customer, Effective December 1, 2006, Bustin Industrial Products will be modifying our Pricing Policy for Aluminum products to include monthly adjustments for changes in aluminum costs. As you may be aware, cost for metals has been both dramatic and volatile during the past two years. As a result, we have found it necessary to discontinue our annual pricing and begin updating our pricing on a monthly basis. The Mid-West Aluminum Ingot price average will be used in the calculation of the updated pricing with the trigger point being $1.17 /lb. These values will be taken at the close of the preceding month. The additional costs will be calculated individually by product by taking the metals price change per pound and multiplying it by the weight of the product these changes up or down will be included in the base prices. These costs are a transparent pass through for aluminum cost changes only. Pricing will continue to be at time of order placement. Existing orders will not be affected by this change in policy.
